This Manual contains the policies and procedures regarding intercollegiate and club sport programs of the University. All sections of this Manual, except "The Board of Trustees Policy for Athletics" (See II) and "The Athletic Council," (See III, B) are administrative matters under the control and direction of the President, and may be modified by the President without referral to the Board.

An annual review of this Manual will be conducted by the Director of Athletics, Chair of the Athletic Council, and the University Faculty Athletics Representative . A written report recommending changes will be made to the President annually. The President will respond, presenting appropriate matters to the Board of Trustees at his or her discretion.

Changes in this Manual will be made only by the President or Board of Trustees. Changes in policy approved by the President or Board of Trustees will be incorporated in the Manual in an appropriate manner.
